Pakistan’s National Assembly on 2 July passed the Protection of Pakistan Bill (PPB) 2014. Following the National Assembly’s approval, the PPB will now be applicable for a period of two years.

Bolivia has become the first country to legalize child labour after a law was signed by Vice- President Alvaro Garcia Linera on 17 July 2014.The bill was approved by Bolivian Congress in June 2014.
